Mildura/Murray Lines is a collaborative, interactive, and multimedia project. A kind of information architecture, or a contemporary 'Songline' on the Mildura city and Murray region. The project foresees the creation of a painting that will integrate multi-media contents and interacts, accessible through mobile devices (smartphones and tablets). The work is articulated into the physical world (the hypermedia painting) and into the information ecosystem (the digital ramifications of the painting). Visitors to the exhibition can access actively the digital components of the project, sharing it, add comments, or contribute photos, videos, texts and links.
The project is conceived as a living entity that grows over time through its digital components. And due to its technical characteristics, has the potential to continue to evolve after the conclusion of the 2013 Mildura Palimpsest. |
